Hi there! I am a senior Robotics & Computer Vision Engineer with 15+ years building field-tested autonomy and production ML systems spanning robotics, Augmented/Virtual/Mixed Reality (AR/VR/MR), and applied AI/ML. I am experienced in building vision and ML systems that perceive, learn, and move atoms, not just bits. I constantly strive to accelerate deployment speed and robustness, as well as product and development usability, most recently via agentic coding workflows. Some of my research interests include interactive machine learning, computer and robotic vision, sim-to-real and physical AI, as well as human-robot interaction.

I’m currently working at Meta’s Reality Labs, where I lead the development of several end-to-end perceptual metrology systems for quantifying World-Locked Rendering and geometric calibration for AR and MR devices. Previously, I was a Research Scientist at Element AI (now part of ServiceNow), where I worked on Deep Reinforcement Learning, Adversarial Machine Learning, Robotics, and Computer Vision applied research.

I am an alumnus member of the Mobile Robotics Lab, at the Centre for Intelligent Machines and the School of Computer Science, at McGill University. My supervisor was Professor Gregory Dudek, whom I have worked with since my undergraduate days at McGill. My Ph.D., granted in 2017, focused on maintaining and improving the efficiency of human-robot teams by building trust in the relationship. I’m proud to be a Vanier CGS scholar.
